The House Energy and Commerce Committee has reported legislation (HR 485) prohibiting the use of Quality Adjusted Life Years (QALYs) metrics and calculations in federal programs. AAHD and the Lakeshore Foundation have joined two coalitions – CCD and PIPC – advocating such legislation.
