No Research About Us Without Us – This is our vision for the future of inclusive health research. Here at the American Association on Health and Disability, we’re inviting our friends and allied organizations across the country to be part of making this vision a reality by helping us spread the word about the All of Us Research Program. The program is a historic effort to accelerate research that may improve health by gathering data from one million or more people living in the United States. By taking into account individual differences in lifestyle, environment, and biology, researchers will have the information to better understand health and disease. The more we know about what makes people with disabilities unique, the more customized health care can become.
AAHD invites disability organizations from across the country to join our Outreach Circle! This is an opportunity to help spread the word about the importance of disability participation in All of Us. Joining the outreach circle will give you the tools to promote the program to people in your community! It’s also an opportunity to learn more about how All of Us is helping to improve our understanding of health.
