The Vocational Rehabilitation program of SBVID helps people with disabilities become or remain economically independent through work by providing the following services: Independent Living Rehabilitation Services (ILRS), Arizona Industries for the Blind, Business Enterprise Program, and Employment Support Services.

Arizona Department of Health Services, Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention and Control, Living Well Program
The evidence-based health promotion programs supported by Arizona Living Well are “Healthy Living,” which is a program designed to help people with chronic diseases or conditions develop self-management skills, and “Enhance Fitness,” a community-based group exercise course for older adults. Arizona Living Well provides these programs in three counties in Arizona, and its activities are coordinated with the Department of Economic Security, Division of Aging and Adult Services and the Department of Health Services, Bureau of Tobacco Education, Prevention and Chronic Disease Prevention.

Arizona Department of Health Services, Public Health Prevention Services, Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs, Children’s Rehabilitative Services (CRS)
CRS provides family-centered medical treatment, rehabilitation, and related support services for children under age 21 with qualifying chronic and disabling condition in multi-specialty interdisciplinary clinics; the program does not provide general primary care services.

Arizona Department of Health Services, Division of Behavioral Health Services
This division administers Arizona’s publicly funded behavioral health service system for adults, children, families and communities which provides prevention, support, rehabilitation and treatment services in the areas of substance use and general mental health disorders.  Services are provided to children and adults with serious emotional disturbance, and a statewide crisis system provides services through crisis phones, warm lines, mobile teams, inpatient psychiatric and detoxification facilities.  Prevention programs for children and adults include helping individuals, families and communities reduce the prevalence and severity of behavioral health problems and establish environments that help create and maintain healthy behaviors and strong communities. Special projects include targeting underserved and high-risk groups including tribal communities, people of color and seniors; an underage drinking initiative; suicide prevention; and services for substance use disorders methamphetamine centers for excellence; specialty women’s treatment programs; and integrated services for people with co-occurring disorders which address both substance use and psychiatric disorders in one setting using evidence-based approaches to recovery.
