The American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD) collaborates with numerous non profit organizations, state health and developmental disabilities departments, universities, non profit organizations and private corporations, including health plans. AAHD staff previously served as Chair of the Friends of the NCBDDD and Chair of the Friends Advocacy Coalition and on the Executive Committee of the American Public Health Association Disability Section. AAHD staff previously served the SAMHSA National Wellness Campaign Steering Committee, National Quality Forum (NQF) workgroup on persons dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, and was the NQF representative of the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) Task Force on Long Term Services and Supports from 2012-2017. AAHD staff serves on the NACCHO National Disability Workgroup and served as a Co-Chair the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities Prevention Task Force. AAHD staff previously served as a member of the ONC (Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology) Health IT Policy Committee, Consumer Empowerment Workgroup.
