New Podcast – Health Research Disparities


In this podcast episode, AAHD’s Director of Public Health Programs, Karl Cooper joins Alexia Smalling of the Southwest ADA Center for a conversation on the history and future of biomedical research. Karl discusses the factors that have contributed to low representation of marginalized communities in clinical trials, and the importance of improving participation to advance health outcomes in those communities. He also shares information about the All of Us Research Program, a national initiative to support precision medicine research that promises to improve health care for all.
